Privacy Policy

Effective October 25, 2026

The short version

  • We collect only what we need to answer you, schedule you and run this website.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • Your health records are protected by HIPAA and California medical privacy law, which this website policy does not change.
  • Our Adjust Video app uses Google, Facebook and Instagram account data only for the tasks you approve, follows Google's Limited Use rules, and can be disconnected at any time.

This Privacy Policy explains how adjust.clinic, a Lloyd Chiropractic Corporation ("adjust.clinic," "we," "us"), collects, uses and protects information when you visit adjust.clinic, contact us, book an appointment online, or use our Adjust Video application. If you have questions, the last section tells you how to reach us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you call, text or email us, or book online, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, insurance or claim details, attorney information and a description of your injury. We use it to respond to you, schedule your visit and prepare for your care.

Please do not send detailed health information by regular email or text. Those channels are not fully secure. Call us instead, or bring it to your appointment.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some technical information when you visit:

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how visitors find us. It records things like pages viewed, time on page, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We use these reports only in aggregate to improve the site.
  • Server and security logs. Our hosting provider and our content delivery and security service (Cloudflare) process your IP address, browser type and request details to deliver pages, block attacks and keep the site running.

Embedded content from other companies

  • YouTube videos. Some pages include our videos. The YouTube player loads only when you press play, and it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once it loads, Google may collect information under its own policy.
  • Google Maps. Our contact page shows a Google map. Google may set cookies and collect information when the map loads.
  • Online booking. Appointments are booked through Jane, a practice management service. Information you enter there is handled by Jane on our behalf and protected as part of your health record.

How we use information

  • To respond to calls, emails and messages
  • To schedule appointments and verify coverage, such as MedPay or lien arrangements, when you ask us to
  • To operate, secure and improve this website
  • To meet our legal and professional obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show advertising on this website.

When we share information

We share information only in these situations:

  • Service providers that help us run the practice and the website, such as our scheduling system, hosting provider and analytics provider. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
  • With your permission, for example with your attorney or insurer when you authorize it in writing.
  • When the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect someone's safety.

Your health information

Health information we collect as part of your care is protected by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act. How we use and disclose it is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive as a patient and can request from us at any time. Those protections apply in full, and nothing in this website policy reduces them.

Adjust Video and Google user data

Adjust Video is an application operated by adjust.clinic. It connects to Google services through Google's APIs so that we can produce and publish the clinic's educational videos, for example by uploading and managing videos on the clinic's YouTube channel. It is used by adjust.clinic and the people we authorize. It is not a patient-facing product.

What Adjust Video accesses

When an authorized user signs in with Google, Adjust Video receives the information that user approves on Google's consent screen. This can include:

  • Basic Google account information: name, email address and profile picture, used to sign in and identify the user
  • YouTube channel and video information, and permission to upload or update videos, used to publish and manage the clinic's videos

Adjust Video asks only for the permissions it needs for these tasks.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features the user asked for in Adjust Video, such as signing in, uploading videos and showing the status of the clinic's videos. We do not:

  • Sell Google user data
  • Use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting or personalized ads
  • Use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending
  • Use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models
  • Allow people to read Google user data, except with the user's permission, when needed for security, to comply with the law, or for internal operations using aggregated, anonymized data

Sharing, storage and deletion

We do not transfer Google user data to anyone else, except as needed to provide the features the user requested, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to users. Sign-in tokens and any data we store are kept on secured systems with access limited to people who need it. We keep Google user data only as long as needed to provide the app's features, and we delete it when it is no longer needed or when you ask us to.

You can remove Adjust Video's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have data we hold deleted, email [email protected].

Google API Services User Data Policy

adjust.clinic's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API Services

Adjust Video uses YouTube API Services. By using its YouTube features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Adjust Video, Facebook and Instagram

Adjust Video also connects to Meta's platform so that we can post the clinic's videos and updates to the clinic's own Facebook Page and Instagram account. An authorized user connects it by signing in with Facebook and approving the permissions Meta shows.

What Adjust Video accesses

  • Basic Facebook profile information: name and Facebook user ID, used to sign in
  • The Facebook Pages the user manages and the Instagram account linked to the clinic's Page, used to choose where to post
  • Permission to publish posts, videos and reels to that Page and Instagram account, and to check the status of what we posted

How we use it

We use this information only to publish and manage the clinic's own posts. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else, except as needed to provide the feature or when the law requires it. Access tokens are kept on secured systems with access limited to people who need it, and we keep them only while the connection is in use. Our use of this data follows Meta's Platform Terms.

How to remove access and delete your data

You can disconnect Adjust Video at any time:

  • Facebook: go to Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites (or Business integrations). Select Adjust Video and choose Remove.
  • Instagram: go to Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. Select Adjust Video and choose Remove.
  • Google: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, select Adjust Video and choose to remove its access.

To have us delete the data Adjust Video holds about you, email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" and the name of your Facebook, Instagram or Google account. We will delete it, including any stored access tokens, within 30 days and email you to confirm. Posts already published to the clinic's Page, Instagram account or YouTube channel are the clinic's own content and are managed separately.

Cookies and your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
  • You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Blocking cookies or using the opt-out add-on has the same effect for analytics.

Your California privacy rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you from this website or Adjust Video, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within 45 days. Medical records are different: state and federal law require us to keep them for a set period, and your rights to see and amend them are explained in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

We do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on every page. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top of the page.
